Weary we gather — together we heal.

A Place to Come Back
to Yourself

Life moves fast. Demands pile up. Somewhere along the way, the quiet voice inside — the one that knows what you need — gets harder to hear. Nashaway is where you slow down enough to listen again.

When the noise gets louder than your own voice

You don't need another vacation. You need a space that meets you where you are — and gives you back to yourself.

Weary & Overwhelmed

The pace of life has left you depleted, restless, and disconnected from what matters most.

Stuck at a Crossroads

You sense something needs to shift — but you can't hear yourself well enough to know what it is.

Quietly Searching

You're curious about deeper healing, expanded awareness, and a more conscious way of moving through the world.

Meet your guide

A steady presence to walk you home.

Dr. Melanie Barton built Nashaway as a sanctuary — a place where weary travelers, seekers, leaders, and friends can step out of the busyness and back into harmony. Her work draws from decades of holistic practice, energy healing, and lived wisdom.

"You don't need to be fixed. You need to be heard, held, and reminded of what you already know. That's what we do here."
  • A welcoming host known for warmth, attentiveness, and care for every guest.
  • Reiki practitioner and meditation teacher; gathers trusted healers for every other modality.
  • Curates retreats that honor what you are seeking — quiet stillness or active healing.

The different speakers, meeting like-minded people, and great discussions with the other attendees — I loved every part. We connected with our star families on the roof using handheld walkie-talkies. Dr. Melanie Barton was a perfect host, the food was plentiful and varied, and the CE5 location on the roof was wonderful. Well attended, well organized, and a variety of disciplines. I can certainly recommend the Nashaway Retreat — and I intend on returning.
